(Senior) IT System Engineer (m/f/d) Permanent position, full-time – Cologne Your tasks The design, implementation and maintenance of VMware NSX solutions for network virtualization and segmentation to ensure a secure and efficient infrastructure The integration and management of Azure Cloud Services, including configuration, provisioning and monitoring of virtual machines, networks and services in the Azure environment Advising customers and internal teams on best practices, implementation strategies and potential risks associated with VMware NSX, Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Cloud Services Supporting the sales team in the preparation of proposals, tenders and RFPs by providing technical details and specifications of the proposed IT solutions The maintenance, care and further development of our own data centers in which we offer our offer our customers cloud & hosting services Recording and determining the need for optimization of existing infrastructures in close cooperation with the customer Your profile You have successfully completed an IT degree / training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable IT training and have already gained several years of professional experience You have relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and other relevant certifications You have strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex IT infrastructure problems You have proven experience in planning, implementing and managing VMware NSX, Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Cloud Services Ideally, you have system house experience or several years of expertise in the implementation of migration projects With your specialist knowledge, you can quickly find your way around complex infrastructures and are able to identify optimization potential through weak point analyses Your qualities include a strong sense of service, commitment and enthusiasm The ability to work in a team, motivation, commitment and a communicative nature are part of your personality You have a class B driving license Fluent written and spoken German is a prerequisite – other languages are welcome Your experience You have solid experience in at least three of the following areas: Microsoft AD Azure Cloud Services VMware vSphere + NSX SAN / Storage Microsoft Windows Server Network What we offer you You can expect a varied job in the development of the IT division in the NetCologne Group as well as an innovative and dynamic company with flat hierarchies that is geared towards growth.
